These are the terms you agree to by using this page and by joining the list. They are short on purpose and written in plain words.
These terms are between you and AAVATtype, the operator of this page. You can reach us at hello@aavattype.com about anything on this page, including these terms.
AAVATtype is intended for people aged 16 and over. Please do not join the list if you are younger than that. If a paid product is offered later, you will need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live in order to buy it.
A place to register your interest in AAVATtype before it opens. It is not the product. Joining the list does not buy anything, does not create an account, and does not oblige you to buy anything later.
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy page, which forms part of these terms. The limits of what a result can tell you, and our use of artificial intelligence, are set out in the Disclaimer.
A personality profile drawn from established research, and a tool for understanding yourself. It describes how you think, how you decide and how you relate, and it shows the reasoning behind what it says.
It is not therapy. It is not medical, psychological or clinical advice, and it is not a substitute for any of them. It does not diagnose anything. A profile is a description, not a prediction. It should never be used to decide anyone's job, their place on a course, their access to a service, or any other opportunity, by us or by anyone else.
The limits of what a result can tell you, the position on artificial intelligence, and the numbers to call if something here brings up more than you expected, are all set out in the Disclaimer. It is the page to read before putting weight on a result.
Please do not submit anyone else's email address, attempt to break, overload or probe the site, scrape it, or copy its content for your own product.
By giving us an email address you confirm it is yours to give. If you use this page in a way that breaks these terms, we may remove your address from the list and decline to provide the service to you.
People on this list hear before we open. Pricing is always shown before you are asked to pay, and nothing is ever charged without you choosing it.
AAVATtype is still being built. We cannot promise a launch date, and we cannot promise the service will run without interruption. We may change, pause or discontinue parts of it. If a change affects something you have paid for, we will tell you.
The words, the design, the signature artwork and the method behind AAVATtype belong to us. Your answers and your profile belong to you. You are free to share your own profile anywhere you like.
We cannot promise you will like what your profile says, agree with it, or find it flattering. A profile describes patterns in the answers you gave, and an honest description is sometimes an uncomfortable one. Not recognising yourself in a result, or wishing it said something else, is not a fault in the product, and we do not offer refunds on that basis.
That is a separate thing from the product not working. If something we sold you does not do what we said it would, that is on us, and the section below applies.
If a paid product does not do what we said it would, tell us and we will refund you. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
Beyond those rights, AAVATtype is provided as it is, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us.
If we link somewhere else, we are not responsible for what is there.
We will update this page and the date at the top. If a change materially affects you and we hold your email address, we will tell you.
If AAVATtype is sold, merged or restructured, these terms and the information we hold, including your email address, may transfer to whoever takes it on. They would be bound by terms no less protective than these, and you can unsubscribe at any point, before or after.
These terms, together with the Privacy and Disclaimer pages, are the whole agreement between us about this page, and they replace anything said before. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to someone else. These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
